FILM CLUB

"It brings a whole new life to the school. A new energy"

Film Club on the Hollywood Farmstead Green Screen stage!

Iris Bund, 14

Founder & Executive in Charge of Production:

"We needed something like this. My friends had movie ideas, but we didn't know how to get started. Film Club meets every week after school. We've made a sports documentary and a mystery series. Now we're making longer projects. My next movie is an intense school drama with a science fiction twist."

THE AWARD-WINNING FILM CLUB returns in its third year. A one-of-a-kind filmmaking experience for everyone. The Film Club Workshop has now been taught in schools across Southeast Michigan. A free program for students. Also available for grownups.

Members gain access to cameras and computers for the creation of their own original films. Write it, storyboard it, film it, release it. Sophisticated filmmaking techniques in a creative group atmosphere. We make filmmaking accessible. Schedule your session today.

THE HIGH-SPEED DOLLY

A Film Club Innovation. A student with disabilities uses available technology to create a stunning dolly shot. "He said to me after our session 'It's like when I'm in here, it's not a disability,'" says Barton Bund. "I said 'It's a superpower!'"

All it took was a hoverboard, a GoPro camera, and an idea. Film Club is always accessible.

"I wish I had a Film Club when I was a kid. We have incredible small cameras now. Young people can make and share their projects like never before. Making films with your friends can be life-changing. Media can be positive in your life. They learn camera and computer skills here that you can only learn in film school. And any school group can do this."
